Approximate number of hours away from home each day? (Job, Family, Activities, etc.)
Acquiring a cat is a 15-20 year commitment.  It requires 100% commitment to provide a stable home and vet care without hesitation.   Are you prepared to provide basic care?  (But for extreme vet bills, lifelong medicatons, etc.)
The average yearly cost to care for a kitty is $1200, or $100 per month, (for minimum vet care, food and litter). And that's not including any treats, toys, scratchers, furniture, the initial supplies, and etc.  The  most nutritional wet and dry food on the market costs roughly $65 per month.  Are you financially capable of meeting these costs for the whole of the kitty's life?
